How to Make a Corner Bookmark Step by Step
Before browsing ideas and designs one must first learn how to make one. To make things easier, we have a easy-to-follow to follow video tutorial ready for you as well.
Step by Step Folding Instructions with Pictures
We’ll show you how to fold a basic corner bookmark – to get decoration ideas, simply check one or more of our ideas shared at the end of these folding instructions.
Fold a piece of square origami paper in half diagonally. You will get the shape of a triangle.
Take the top layer of paper at the top of the triangle, and fold the top to the bottom. You will see a white square form inside your triangle.
Bring both the left and right corners of the triangle to the center (at the bottom). Make sure the folds are super crisp.
Unfold both sides as the point of this step was to make the creases.
Now, fold the same two corners to the top of your triangle, transforming it into a square.
Again, make the folds nice and crisp.
Tuck them into the pocket that has formed.
You have just made your origami corner bookmark!
Now decorate it into a character of your choosing; you can use our corner bookmark ideas to kick-start your imagination.
