How to Draw a Star – 5 pointed star
What you need:

- pencil or marker (or both)
- paper
- optional: eraser
Version 1:Easiest way of Drawing a Perfect Star
We are really excited to share this tutorial with you as it’s the easiest way to draw a perfect star! And it’s only 4 steps! You can draw it with a pencil and outline your end drawing with a marker, or just leave as it is, with all the lines – since these kind of stars look pretty cool anyway.
Step 1
Start by drawing a letter A, without the horizontal line.
Step 2
Draw a horizontal line, in the upper third of the “A” letter.
Step 3
Almost there, only two pencil strokes away. All that is left to do is to “connect the dots”, draw a line from one end of the horizontal line let’s say left to the bottom right end of the “letter A”.
Step 4
Do the same with the other side.
Congratulations you have just learned how to draw a star! Now you can trace it with a marker and erase the lines or get creative and give your star a smiley face.
Version 2: Star Drawing With One Stroke
You don’t have to lift your pen from the paper in order to draw a star with this method. Once you get a hang of it, this is the fastest method for drawing stars.
You can draw with a pencil and when you finish, trace the outer lines with a marker to get the perfect star without the lines inside.
Step 1
Start by drawing a horizontal line from left to right.
Step 2
Continue by drawing a line at an angle.
Step 3
Next line should go at an angle and up to the top of the star drawing.
Step 4
You are almost there! Now draw a line from the top to the bottom, again at an angle.
Step 5
Now the only thing that’s left is to connect the last line with the first one and you have drawn a star.
Step 6
If drawing with pencil, outline the drawing with marker and erase pencil.
