Printable Halloween Windsocks

Let the kids make their own Halloween decorations with our printable Halloween windsocks – with 3 wonderful designs to choose from, this Halloween craft makes for a wonderful afternoon activity.

Just print them out, add some tissue paper or old newspaper and your decoration will be ready for a hanging in no time.

We’ve got a wicked witch windsock, a vampire windsock, and Frankenstein windsocks (or well Frankenstein’s monster if we’re precise). These are available as a pre-colored craft or as a black and white Halloween craft template that kids can color in all on their own. How to Make the Printable Halloween Windsocks

What you need:

• our printable template
• scissors
• glue
• tissue paper or old newspaper
• coloring supplies if you are printing the black and white template

Step by Step Tutorial

Print out the templates, one or all. The first thing you’ll need to do is to color in the parts (if printing the black and white template).

 

Once colored, or if you printed the colored version, cut out all the template pieces.

For Frankenstein’s monster, glue the hair on the head, before you roll it up. It’s easier this way.

Glue the ends together to make a roll.

Let the glue set before moving to next steps.

Stick on any “accessories” – bolts for the Frankenstein’s monster, nose for the witch, bow and cape for the vampire.

Cut long strips of tissue paper or newspaper.

Glue one strip on top of the roll, making a loop. This will be the handle for our Halloween windsock.

Glue the other strips on the bottom.

All done!
