St. Patrick’s Day or the Feast of Saint Patrick as some may call it, is bringing us a bunch of awesome activities for kids to do and have fun with. This is why we’ve created this lovely agamograph template for them – to spread a bit of the St. Patrick’s colorful joy and happiness.
If you’ve already been making some of our other agamographs, we know you’ve become a master in coloring and folding these fun printable templates. But if this is your first agamograph, no worries, this simple St. Patrick’s themed craft is perfect to start with.
The charm of agamographs is that the image on them changes depending on a person’s viewing angle.
With this agamograph, your kids will be coloring a big shamrock and a colorful rainbow in the sky.
You can choose between two versions – a pre-made agamograph, that only needs coloring and folding, or a template, where kids need to color, cut and glue the St. Patrick’s agamograph together on their own.
Ready to start? Print our template (at the end of this tutorial), and create your own colorful St. Patrick’s Day agamograph.

Or Follow the Step by Step Instructions
Firstly, print out your chosen template which you can find at the bottom of this tutorial.
Color the template with your best markers. We do like to use vivid colors, so the alternating images really pop out nicely.
Now use your scissors to cut out the template.
What you need to do next is to score along the alternating images of the agamograph. Use a skewer or anything similar at hand.
It’s folding time. Flip the agamograph and start folding the St. Patrick’s agamograph puzzle.
Press firmly to create crisp folds while using the accordion technique.
Continue folding the agamograph all the way to the last piece of the “agamograph puzzle”.
Gently unfold the accordion to see one side of the agamograph…
…and tilt it a bit to reveal the second image you’ve colored.
Your St. Patrick’s agamograph is all done and ready to display.
