The joys of spring and warmer weather are here, and we’ve prepared another craft for your kids to make during the season.
We’re sure the little hands will enjoy coloring and creating our lovely spring agamograph template.

Spring is the time of blooming flowers and unpredicted weather. By making this agamograph the finished craft will reveal exactly that kind of atmosphere.
With nature slowly awakening, springtime is perfect to awake our inner child and get crafty with the little ones.
You will get to choose between two versions of the spring agamograph template.
The first one is ready for coloring and folding. Using the second version, kids will need to color the whole images first, then cut the agamograph’s pieces apart, and glue them on another paper alternately.
This time the two alternating pictures will reveal a lovely frog sitting on a lotus leaf in the middle of the pond, and a butterfly flying around its flower on a sunny day.
Making agamographs is easy and fun to do, so let your kids use their best colorful crayons and color them as they see fit to make their unique craft.

How to Make a Spring Agamograph
What you need:
- one of our Spring agamograph templates (get it at the very end of the tutorial)
- heavier print paper (we used 160 gsm white print paper, but you can use a regular one which will work out just fine)
- printer
- coloring supplies
- scissors
- optional scoring tool (we like to use our wooden stick, or simply use something similar at hand)

Choose the version you want to color and print it out (get the templates at the bottom of the tutorial).
Color the alternating images with vivid colors. If you want the craft really to pop out, we recommend coloring the backrounds in different colors (we used a pink and light blue background for our agamograph).
Cut out the template with scissors.
Score along the lines in between alternating images, so the folding will be easier.
Start folding your spring agamograph by using an accordion techinique.
Press each piece of the agamograph puzzle firmly to really get the crisp folds.
Go all the way to the last piece of the agamograph template.
Your spring agamograph is all done! Lean it on the one side, where you’ll see the frog…
…and take a look at your craft from the other angle, where the image of a big flower and a butterfly will reveal.
Display the agamograph in a nice spot in your home and enjoy the craft your kid has created.
