These are not only fun to make, they will also make the most wonderful kids made decoration both for home and for the classroom.

One of my favorite animals that is associated with fall season is hedgehog hands down (foxes not far behind), as a result you can find a ton of hedgehog crafts ideas on the website and I am constantly thinking about more ways to make one or dozen.
This one certainly was fun to make and as it has a ton of cutting, it’s perfect for working on fine motor skills with younger kids. As it’s insanely cute – you won’t be able to just make one – older kids will love making them too (as will you).
These will also look great on a bulletin board in the classroom, and you can make them in any size you want (I hope one of you makes a super jumbo one and sends a picture).
If you make larger ones, well at least larger than we did, you can also add an apple or other fruit for the hedgehog to carry around. It doesn’t have to be made out of paper, it can be a pom pom (I do think it would look super cute).

How to Make a Cute Hedgehog Paper Craft
What you need
- brown construction paper
- beige construction paper
- black marker
- scissors
- glue
- something to draw the circle with
Optional: red paper for the apple to put on the hedgehog, or pom poms or any other material you see fit.

Or Follow these Step by Step Instructions on How to Make These Cute Hedgehogs
Make 2 circles on brown paper. You will need a circle and a half for 1 hedgehog (you can use more if you like).
Cut them out.
Cut the circles in half.
Make cones out of halves. Glue together.
Time to do some cutting. Make strips on one half of the cone (see the two images bellow)
Curl the strips a little.
Glue the cones one into another.
Make a smaller circle on the beige paper.
Cut out and cut in half.
Make a cone.
Draw eyes and nose.
Glue on the brown cones.
You just made one super cute hedgehog paper craft. Isn’t this the cutest!
