Ready to craft! We had fun with the paper plates today again this time making a paper plate penguin craft. We wanted this one to really stand out and to be kind of wobbly so this is what we created.

Paper Plate Penguin Craft
What you need
- paper plates (one paper plate makes two penguins)
- glue or stapler depending on the age of the child
- scissors
- black paint
- orange paint
- paint brush
- wiggle eye stickers
Start by cutting the paper plate in half.
Roll into a cone and glue or staple together (stapling together obviously is way quicker).
And now the decorating fun begins. We started by painting the wings and back of the penguin black. We drew the beak with orange paint and attached two wiggle eye stickers. Easy Peasy!
Now make a whole bunch of these paper plate penguins and have them wobble all around! You can even attach some yellow yarn to their head and make royal penguins (those are pretty cool looking aren’t they).
As this project is on the frugal side, it’s perfect to do in the classroom.
