What you need:
- Christmas Pop Up Card Template
- Scissors
- Glue
- Construction paper
Step By Step Tutorial
If you are ready to make a Christmas Pop Up Card, then you can start by printing out your favorite template. Which template will be your favorite?
Look at all the fun templates to choose from!
You can also print out one of the templates with color. If your child would rather just print out a template and put it together, then this is a great route to go.
Go ahead and cut out the template of your choice.
Once it’s printed out, fold it in half.
Cut along the dotted lines to cut out the mouth.
The result should look like this!
Pay attention to the corners of the mouth….
And then fold up like you see in the picture.
As you can see, it gives the mouth a popped out look.
Fold the card again to make the crease stay.
Once it’s opened, you can see the result. How cute is that pop up mouth?
You are now going to take glue and glue the back of the template to a red piece of construction paper.
Now, when the card is opened or closed, the mouth is also going to open and close.
You can pass these cards out for the holidays or enjoy them as a craft within your family.
