How to Make This Santa in Chimney Pop Up Card
What you need:
- Santa in a Chimney Pop Up Card Template
- Crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
- Red construction paper
Step by Step Tutorial
This Santa in a chimney may look a little complicated to make, but he’s actually really easy to put together.
Go ahead and print out this template to begin the process of making this pop up card. Once it’s printed out, you can start cutting.
After the chimney is cut out, you can start cutting out Santa’s legs.
Once everything is cut out, you are going to fold the chimney in half.
Once the chimney is folded in half, you are going to cut along the dotted lines on the chimney.
As you can see, there is a nice slit on the top of the chimney.
Go ahead and open the template back up and you can see where the cut is.
The slit should be all the way through.
When the template is opened, it should look like this!
Now you are going to glue the template to a red piece paper or color of your choice.
Make sure you don’t glue the part where you made the slit.
You are going to glue both Santa legs inside of the slit. Make sure you glue the legs on the outside of the slit.
As you can see, it gives a 3-D effect!
