Do you have a pop up story book? If you do, you know how awesome they are, right? What is your favorite? And if you don’t have one or do not know what that is, do not worry at all. You will witness the magic after we complete today’s project. It will be a cute dinosaur pop up card.

You can use this card as a gift for your friend and make him/her so very happy.
We are super excited to show you how to make one with really simple steps to follow.
How to Make Dino Pop Up Card
What you need:
- one piece of 6×9 inch cardstock
- one piece of 4×5 inch cardstock
- pop up card printables
- scissors
- glue
- ruler
- pencil
- decorative materials (we hand drew tiny leaves, but feel free to use whichever decorations you like, beads, pom poms, washi tapes…)
Step by Step Instructions
Start by folding the 4×5 inch cardstock in half.
Using a ruler and a pencil measure 2 cm horizontally and 4c m vertically (in the middle) on the cardstock.
Using your scissors, cut the two vertical 4 cm lines on the folded side. Here we made the slit.
You can make multiple slits if you are planning to add other pop up arts in your card.
Next, open the card and fold the tab inward.
Crease the tab in the middle.
You can see that the tab is on the inside of the card now.
Fold the other 6×9 inch cardstock in half and glue the smaller cardstock to it, on the inside.
Be careful not to put glue over the tab because it won’t open.
So just avoid the tab and apply the glue around it.
Cut out the pop up printables (use the color versions or color them with colored pencils of your choice).
You can draw your own artwork if you like and use that instead of the printables.
Now glue the tiny dinosaur on the tab.
Apply some glue on the flowers and arrange them around the cute critter.
Decorate the pop-up card on the outside with the materials you chose.
You can write a fun message if you like too, either on the outside of the card or on the inside of the card. Done!
