How to Draw a Tiger Step by Step 

What you need:

• our printable drawing guide (optional)
• pencil or black marker
• paper

Step by Step Tiger Drawing Instructions

Step 1

We’ll start by drawing a simple tiger face. Make the head shape.

Step 2

First details to add are a pair of ears and a round shape for the snout.

Step 3

Fill in the tiger head drawing with all the details – a pair of eyes and eyebrows, nose, mouth and teeth. Also draw another set of round lines inside the ears.

Step 4

This next step will have you complete the tiger head drawing – draw the signature stripes.

Step 5

This step might look a little bit tricky, but it will make drawing a tiger’s body easier. Start by drawing one leg (the line on the left). Also, draw a curved line (on the right) to make the tiger’s body.

Step 6

Now draw a line from the head to the bottom part of the left (the line on the left) to make the belly. Also draw a hind leg.

Step 7

Almost there! Draw another leg. Also draw the tail.

Step 8

Add details on the legs and, if there was any space between the hind and front legs, draw a line between them to complete the belly.

Step 9

Last, the most important step: draw stripes on your tiger drawing.
