Spring is a time of rain and sun. We wanted to make a craft that captures that and this rain cloud paper craft with a paper plate sun pretty much sums it up. This fun to make craft will make a lovely display in your home or in your classroom.

What you need:
- blue paper
- white construction paper
- cotton balls
- paper plate
- yellow paint
- glue
- clear tape (we didn’t use clear tape so it’s easier to see in the tutorial, but raindrops will turn so it’s best to use clear one)
- scissors
- yarn (preferably white or blue)
- paint brush
Cut a cloud shape out of white construction paper. Cut a bunch of raindrops. Cut a few strings of yarn. Glue the yarn on the back of the cloud with clear tape. Space them out a little bit, just enough to accommodate the drops without them touching each other.
Glue the yarn on the drops with clear tape.
Paint the paper plate yellow. Allow the paint to dry completely before continuing. Cut the sun rays. Trim the sun rays from a part of the sun, this will make it easier to glue the sun to the cloud. Glue the sun to the cloud.
Apply a generous amount of glue on the cloud. Stick on cotton balls to make your cloud fluffy!
