We do love bats! We recently made a paper plate bat craft, we already have a tutorial for a toilet paper roll bat craft so making one from popsicle sticks (another popular crafting supply) was a no-brainer.
How to Make a Craft Stick Bat
What you need:
- craft stick (jumbo craft sticks or recycled popsicle sticks)
- black paper (or recycled paper painted black)
- googly eye stickers
- paintbrush
- white chalk marker
- glue
Step by Step Tutorial
Start by painting the craft stick with black paint.
Once the craft stick is painted, allow the paint to dry. Once dry, choose two googly eye stickers and stick them on the craft stick near the top.
Paint a smile and a pair of fangs under the eyes with the white chalk marker.
Take a small sheet of black paper (or paper painted black) and fold it in half.
Cut out the bat wings shape.
Apply glue on the craft stick or on the wings…
…and stick them together.
All done, your craft stick bat is complete.
