How to Make a Mothers Day Handprint Card
What you need:
- construction paper (black. pink, and white)
- scissors
- paint of various colors
- glue
- ribbon (your choice of color)
Step by Step Tutorial
Take a piece of construction paper and fold it in half.
Cut a piece of pink paper and glue it to the front of the black piece of paper.
Take your hand and lay it out. Paint it with the colors of your choice. The picture here is showing brown and tan.
Place the hand on the white piece of paper.
Press down hard enough that the paint comes off onto the paper. This Mother’s Day handprint card is going to be so worth it when you finish!
Allow the handprint to dry and then cut out the handprint.
Go ahead and glue the handprint to the pink paper. If you are helping small children with this craft, you may have to help them with the cutting part.
Now you can decorate the handprint as you’d like. Now is the time to get creative!
You can even add a cute bow for fun. There is no right or wrong way to make a bow. The bows don’t have to be perfect either; try and have fun with it!
You can write a special note inside of the card to give to the mother in your life. This card also works well for grandmas and aunts.
You can sit down with your kids and make as many of these as you’d like! You can also make a similar one for Father’s Day!
