We’ve got an Easter chick.
And an Easter bunny.
And lastly, a cute sheep hiding inside the egg.
How to make Surprise Easter Egg Cards Craft
What you need:
- our printable Easter craft template
- paper
- scissors
- coloring supplies if you will be printing the black and white template
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the templates. All of the templates are available both in black and white and as precolored versions, as well as being available in two sizes.
You can print them on regular paper or heavier print paper – we do recommend the later if your kids will be using markers to color in their template.
Regular print paper works perfectly for crayons and coloring pencils.
If you printed the black and white version, have the kids color it in before they move to cutting.
Cut out the template – cut along the full line on the outside.
Fold along the dashed line on the top of the template as shown on the image bellow.
Now carefully fold the template, aligning the top dashed line with the bottom one.
Press down firmly to make the fold crisp.
All done. The surprise cards are ready.
Now you can open them up and close them up to have the Easter creature pop out of them.
