How to Assemble the Build a Fox Puppet Template
What you need:
- our printable template (comes with four forest animals)
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the sheets – if you want, print the base template that includes the outer ears and tail on colored paper, or have kids color them with coloring supplies.
Have them cut out the parts.
We printed the sheet with the base, ears, and tail on orange-colored paper.
It’s time to fold the puppet base along the dashed lines.
Encourage children to create nice creases.
Then, have them apply glue to the flaps (marked with “glue”).
To finish the base, have the children close up the “card” gently by pressing down for the glue to set.
Have them glue the tip of the tail to the tail.
To create ears, have kids glue the inner and outer pieces of the ears together.
Have them glue the fox’s cheeks to the base of the puppet.
Then, glue on the nose.
Next come the eyes.
And ears – have kids glue them to the back of the puppet.
All done!
Isn’t it cute?
