Fall is a wonderful season, the colors you observe in the nature offer a lot of inspiration for arts and crafts for kids.
This windosck craft perfectly captures fall – the yellow, orange and brown colors are the “it” colors of this time of the year. And as fall can be quite windy, a windsock craft is a great one – just display it outside and watch it dance in the wind.
How to Make Fall Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft
What you need:
- toilet paper roll
- brown paint
- tissue paper in fall colors
- construction paper in fall colors
- scissors
- glue
- hole puncher
- yarn
- brown marker
Step by Step Tutorial
First paint the toilet paper roll brown. If you are not a fan of toilet paper rolls you can also make a roll out of brown construction paper.
Let the paint dry. Once completely dry, punch two holes on one side of the paper roll with a single hole puncher.
Push yarn (or other) through the holes.
Tie at the top.
Draw leaf shapes on paper. One color is enough but multiple colors will make this craft even better looking.
Cut out the leaf shapes.
Add a small amount of glue on the back of the leaf and stick it on the paper roll.
Cut long strips of tissue paper. Apply glue on one end of the tissue paper strip and stick it on the inside of the toilet paper roll.
Stick the tissue paper all around.
And that’s all there is! You’ve just made a fall windsock toilet paper roll craft.
