Raise your hand if you love reindeer crafts! We’ve got an extremely fun one for you, let’s make a 3D construction paper reindeer craft together!
This one is so fun to make, you’ll want to make all 8 of Santa’s reindeer + Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

Can you name all the Santa’s reindeer? I admit I am a bit rusty when it comes to names, well except for Rudolph as he always was my favorite.
We absolutely loved adding this reindeer craft idea to our collection of Christmas craft ideas kids can make over the holidays.
It’s a super easy one to make too, with simple to measure parts of this craft, it’s a great classroom art project idea – can’t you just see all the wonderful little deer? And you can combine it with a creative writing challenge – like “If I were a reindeer”…
These are not only fun for the little ones, they are a fun project for all ages and also make for a wonderful DIY placeholder for a Christmas dinner table.
Ready to make one (or ten) of your own? Let’s get crafting!

First prepare the paper.
Our size guide was a letter / A4 sized paper – folded in half twice – so a quarter of the sheet (any other size in the sameish proportions works out nice too). The younger the kids, the larger the paper.
Cut both the white paper and light brown paper to be the same size.
Fold the light brown construction paper in half along its length.
Take one of the halves and trim it a little along the length.
Apply glue on one side and roll into a paper tube roll.
Allow the glue some time to dry (you can use a clothespin to hold it together).
Take the other strip of light brown construction paper, fold it in half (along the width).
Cut out a U shape.
Fold the “legs” as shown on the image bellow.
Glue the hind legs on the paper.
Color the hooves with a black marker.
Glue the front legs on the base too (nicely arching the body of the reindeer).
Cut a tail shape out of scrap light brown construction paper.
Cut antlers out of dark brown construction paper.
Glue them on the light brown construction paper roll.
Add two wiggle eye stickers and a red pom pom.
Apply a generous amount of glue on the body of your 3D construction paper reindeer……and pop on the head!
See, this 3D Construction Paper Reindeer craft is insanely easy to make, kids and kids at heart will love it equally!
Hope you had fun, happy crafting!
