How to Make the Curly Sheep Craft for Kids

What you need:

• our printable template (optional) or a hand-drawn sheep face and legs
• white print paper
• cardstock in any color of your choosing
• scissors
• glue

Step by Step Tutorial

Print the colorful template or let kids color the printer-friendly version.

Cut out strips of paper – you can use our template to make them. If you are working with younger kids, use less while older kids might want to use many more paper strips to make their sheep.

Have the cut out the sheep’s head and legs.

Place the head somewhere in the center and trace it with a pencil. This will make the next steps easier.

Now, have them apply glue inside the pencil lines.

It’s time to glue on the paper strips – the sheep’s wool to be.

Have kids curl the paper strip gently.

Then, apply some glue to the end of the strip.

And press it down for the glue to set.

Have the kids repeat the steps with all the paper strips.

Glue on the sheep’s head.

Also, attach the legs, placing each pair on one side of the cardstock.

The sheep craft is done!
