This activity is great for learning the color words – if your kids still don’t read, you can color in the bottom cirlces with crayons to help them out.

Let the kids read out the color words and match the circles in that color, as they do the Christmas wreath will look nicer and nicer.

Counting Baubles

Can your kids count to 8? This tree matching activity will require them to count all the baubles on each of the trees and match them to the correct tree stump.

Reindeer Emotions

Let your kids explore a wide range of emotions and states of mind with this fun matching activity.

Have the kids read the emotion and try to match the reindeer head to the correct one.

Simple Addition

If you have advanced students who already know their addition, why not offer them this fun reindeer addition page.

Have the kids match up the addition problem to the solution.

Color Patterns

Have the kids look at the 3 color blobs in each of the boxes and have them find the gift that is colored with those 3 colors.

Let’s decorate the Christmas three!

And while at it, why not practice some basic shapes too. This one is great for preschool.

Alphabet Christmas Lights

These activity comes with 4 sheets – the black and white lights come in upper case and lower case and so do the color lights.

This means you can have your kids either practice letter recognition by having them match upper case to upper case and lower case to lower case letters. Or you can have them work on matching the upper case letters to the lower case ones.

Mix and Match Christmas Characters

This is a fun one. While you can have your kids complete the puzzles and build a reindeer, an Elf, a gingerbread man and Santa you can also have them mix and match their body parts to come up with a variety of new characters.

Why not have Santa Claus with a reindeer head. Or a gingerbread man with an elf’s head and Santa’s feet? There are so many possibilities.

Size sorting

Sort the gifts by size, from the smallest to largest, from largest to smallest or by a random order.

Number Sense

Let your kids work on number sense. This activity will have them practice the number sense with numbers up to 5.

There should be 3 socks hanging on each of the fireplaces, match the correct ones to the correct fireplace.

Build an Elf

There is a variety of different mouth expressions and eyes you can use to make the silliest elf there is.

Alphabet Tracing

It’s time to put those writing skills to the test. We’ve had so much fun with other activities, so why not wrap it up with some writing.

Happy learning!
