I do get tense quite often – most often than not for no apparent reason (as my mom does, thanks mom!) so I have a few quick de-stress techniques that calm me down – the usually and effective ones, taking a pause to take a deep breaths, spraying lavender linen spray all around me, taking a longer shower… When I have more time on my hands I like to do two things that really take the stress away – doodle and color!

Just found your coloring pages and came up with a great idea. My Mother-in-law has mental illness and vascular dementia so I am looking to use these coloring pages with her to help her focus and concentrate. I plan to even include the 11-year-old G-daughter to help G-Mother be motivated to color. Thinking about what I have learned with geriatric conditions like this (mental illness, dementia), I believe this may help. Has anyone else ever tried this with the elderly?
While I personally haven’t tried – I do get positive feedback from readers that used them in that way and say they helped. Most people find these kind of coloring relaxing, can help them with focus etc. but some can find them overwhelming and do not like coloring them.
AWESOME, I too find just simple coloring to be relaxing. Doodling does the same. Beautiful pages.
I had seen these books but was never interested in them. Till I went on vacation to see a friend in Missouri and she had some .she keep telling me to color,i don’t really want to ,but did after her asking me a few times .now I am so hooked on them. I have been looking up all kinds of stuff that purtain to these books..Thank you Karen.
