Learning about life cycles can be super fun if you add in this cool bee life cycle activity (or any other of the 15 bugs).
Kids will love assembling their own camera with the film showing different life stages of this adorable bug.
The only thing better would be if the kids would be able to snap their own photos capturing the different stages, but that is not an easy task.

How to Make the Life Cycle of a Bee Craft
What you need:
- our printable template
- scissors
- coloring supplies if you will be printing the black-and-white version
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the template. We recommend printing these on a heavier paper to give the craft more durability.
If you printed the black and white versions, have the kids first color them in.
Next, cut out the camera and the film strip.
Cut along the dashed lines on the screen of the camera. The easiest way to do this is to fold the camera along the full line on the screen. Fold it just enough to get to the dashed lines and cut along them.
The camera now has two slits where we’ll insert the bee life cycle film strip.
Insert the film. Start from the bottom, with the film under the camera. Push the film through the slit so that it covers the screen. Push the film through the second slit (on top of camera).
Fold back the flaps on each side of the film.
This will secure it so it doesn’t slip out as kids move it along.
All done! Your Life Cycle of a Bee Craft is complete and ready to teach kids all about the bee’s life cycle.
