We’ve already shared a bunch of clothespin puppet sets with you, but this one right here might just be one of our favorites – just check the crazy blue croc and say you don’t love him or her.
With the shape of crocodile’s and alligator’s heads, well they make a perfect material for clothespin puppets.
Crazy cute, right?
How to Make the Alligator and Crocodile Clothespin Puppets
What you need:
- printed crocodile craft template
- clothespin (wooden is best)
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies for the black and white version
Step by Step Instructions
Print the activity sheet on cardstock.
Color the designs if you printed the black and white version. You can go really crazy with the colors here.
Time to cut! Cut along the croc and gator outline.
Next cut along the mouth line (it’s marked on the template).
Apply glue on the clothespin and stick the puppet on the clothespin, head on the top part…
…and body with the bottom part of the head on the bottom of the clothespin.
You can also glue the same gator or croc facing the other direction on the back of the clothespin.
All done, your Alligator and Crocodile Clothespin Puppets are ready for play.
