We always have a cupcake liner or two in our house as you never know when you are going to get a cupcake craving or an itch to make a simple craft – like this jellyfish cupcake liner craft!
To make this cupcake liner jellyfish you will need;
- a cupcake liner or two (obviously)
- tissue paper (or ribbons!!)
- scissors
- glue and duct tape
- string
- googly eyes, eye stickers or black marker to draw the eyes
Start by cutting strips of tissue paper (or ribbons or whatever material you want to use). The more colors the merrier and you can cut them so they are all the same length or make some longer or shorter.
Glue the strips of paper on the inside of the cupcake liner – not on the walls but on the bottom as this way the jellyfish umbrella will stand out more (and look cuter).
Flip it over and glue the string on the bottom of the cupcake liner (or on top of the umbrella).
As a final touch add some googly eyes (or any other kind) to give this sea creature some personality!
These work out great as a decoration for an ocean themed birthday party – you can make a ton as they are an inexpensive decoration that really looks adorable.
