It’s turkey season and these cute little Turkey Toilet Paper Roll Crafts are a great way to make place settings for your table or just display around the house.

Kids enjoy simple crafts like this so much that you will likely have a herd of toilet paper roll turkeys running around once they get started.
For smaller children, you can pre-cut everything, lay it out, and just let them get some fine motor practice via placing and gluing the items.

How to make a Toilet Paper Roll Turkey
You will need:
- toilet paper rolls
- construction paper
- orange pipe cleaner
- googly eyes
- craft glue
- brown paint-optional
Step by Step Instructions
Cut the tp rolls in half, try not to crease them and keep their round shape.
You can leave them as they are to keep the mess to a minimum. Or give your turkey bodies (tp roll) a coat of brown paint and let them dry well.
Cut rainbow shades of construction paper into long strips, about ½ ” wide by the length of the construction paper, which is about 11”.
Fold strips in half and glue, don’t crease them just loop them over. Glue to the back of your little turkey body.
Your child can make it as full as they like. You can hot glue the body to something like a clothespin if it gets too heavy to help it stay upright.
Cut a 2- 2” pieces of pipe cleaner for each turkey and bend one into a triangle for the beak, glue in place. Fold the other one into a V and glue to the bottom for feet.
Add a small scrap of red construction paper behind the beak for the turkey waddle.
Glue on googly eyes to finish off the face and enjoy playing with the little turkey.
