How to Make Snowman Clothespin Puppets
What you need:
- our snowman puppet craft template
- heavier print paper / cardstcok
- clothespin (wooden is best)
- scissors
- glue
- optional: coloring supplies for the black and white version of the puppets
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the snowman craft template. It’s best if you print these on heavier print paper, as this will make them more durable. You could also laminate them once you get the puppets ready.
If your kids will be working with the black and white version of our puppets, we recommend they color it first. It’s way easier to color before cutting.
Once they are happy with their coloring, let them cut out the snowman outline.
Also have them cut along the mouth line.
Apply glue on the clothespin. If you are working with a wooden clothespin, regular stick glue will do the job. However if you are using a plastic clothespin a stronger craft glue, glue gun or glue dots will be necessary.
Stick the puppet parts on the clothespin.
And that’s all there is to it.
You have made your snowman clothespin puppet – it’s ready to play!
