This is a great Christmas eve craft, when everyone is eagerly anticipating for Santa to visit.
How to Make the Santa Spinner Christmas Craft
What you need:
- our Santa claus craft template
- sheet of white cardstock paper (or use regular paper and laminate it)
- split pin / paper fastener (you can get them in office supply stores, craft stores…
- coloring supplies if printing the black and white version
- scissors
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the sheet – either the black and white coloring template or the full color one. We recommend printing the template on heavier print paper / card-stock or laminating the craft.
If you or your kids decided on a black and white template the first step is to color in the roof and images inside the circle.
Once you are happy with your coloring, cut along the dashed line with your scissors.
Time to make the craft spin :).
Punch a hole in the middle of the circle – skewer, split pins or even a pencil will do the job. For younger kids the grown ups should do this step.
Punch another hole through the small circle located on the chimney.
Push a split pin through both holes and secure the split pin.
Give the craft a few spins to “loosen it up a bit” and it’s ready to play.
Spin and watch Santa fly across the sky.
