Pinecone Christmas Tree Decoration
Materials
- Pinecones
- Green Craft Paint
- Paintbrush
- Liquid Glue (like white school glue)
- Glitter
- Pom Poms
- Additional Embellishments
Let’s make it!
If using pinecones collected from outdoors, give them a quick rinse and shake to remove dirt & debris. Let dry completely.
Paint the whole pinecone with the green paint. Clean the brush and allow to dry completely.
I find that the craft paints tend to dry fast so there may not be a huge wait!
Use the clean paint brush to brush glue onto the tips of each “leaf” (or use a glue gun).
Decorate with the pom poms, glitter and other cool embellishments you may have!
Try using some string as garland.
Idea* – Make a bunch, tie some string (or use an ornament hook) on the top of the pinecones.
String them onto (or hook) a larger string or ribbon to create a garland strand of decorated pinecones!
