How to Make the Reindeer Paper Craft
What you need:
- printable template
- patterned paper
- color papers (pink, brown, beige, red, and white)
- scissors
- pencil
- glue
- black marker
- white pompom
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the template and grab your scissors to begin cutting out the different shapes of the reindeer and its parts.
The Reindeer
Place the cutout of the reindeer on the platform on top of your brown construction paper and trace it.
The Mane and the Tail
Place the fur pieces on the beige paper and trace them.
The Saddle
Place the saddle piece on top of decorative paper and trace it.
The Christmas Hat
Trace the hat cutout on the red paper.
Trace the fur of the hat on a white sheet of paper.
Use a glue stick to assemble the white pieces representing the hat’s fur to the red portion.
Glue the fur on top of the reindeer.
Add the decorative saddle on top of the reindeer’s back.
Paste the Santa hat to the top of it’s head.
The Ear
Trace or draw the small leaf-shape on the pink sheet of paper.
Paste the leaf shape to the ear of the reindeer.
The Face
Use your black marker to draw a nose, mouth, and eye on the reindeer.
The Hooves
Draw hooves to the bottom of the reindeer’s feet.
The Legs
Draw lines for the legs with the black marker.
Continue using the black marker to draw the front legs.
Optionally, you can add a white dot to the black eye of the reindeer to make it look more realistic.
Fold the edge of the brown rectangular to make it stand out.
Now you’ll have an adorable reindeer to set on your coffee table or place anywhere else inside the home for the holidays.
Do you like how your reindeer turned out?
We sure do!
Happy holidays!
