Another day, another Christmas card idea – let’s make this Christmas tree card together! This card is really easy to make and it has that wow factor.

What we love about this Christmas card the most, besides it being super simple, is that you can keep it minimalistic as we did or add a ton decorations to make it even more jolly. We think using finger painting to make baubles on the Christmas tree adds a nice touch to this project.
This card doesn’t open up like a classical one, it opens up in the middle.
How to Make a Christmas Tree Card
What you need:
- blank card or a sheet of cardstock to make your own card base
- green paper
- scissors
- glue
Step by Step Tutorial
If you don’t have a blank card, cut a sheet of letter or A4 sized paper in half. Fold the half in half to make a card.
Step 1
Open up the card. Fold the left half to the middle (align the end to the center fold).
Repeat with the other side.
This is is how your card should look.
Step 2
Cut a rectangle out of green paper (or other color) that is smaller than your card.
Fold it in half.
Step 3
Draw a Christmas tree half.
Cut along the outline you drew.
Step 4
Open up your tree.
And cut along the fold.
Step 5
Apply glue on one half of the Christmas tree and stick it on the card.
Do the same with the other half (align it with the first half).
Write your note in the card. If you want more contrast to the card, stick a rectangle of white (or other color) construction paper.
